Abandoned dog returns home thrice

A one-year-old female dog returned home three times after being abandoned by its owner in Wuhan, Central China's Hubei province, cnhubei.com reported on Sunday.

The dog was being raised by a gardener, Guo Haiqing, at his workplace. As Guo did not want any trouble with his job, he decided to abandon it after the animal delivered eight puppies. Guo took it by bus about 15 kilometers away from its home and left it there, but surprisingly found the dog at the front gate the next morning. Before long, Guo went to a flower market about five kilometers away with the dog and dropped it, only to find it back the same night. After two failures, the owner took the dog by ferry to give it to a dog seller but he refused to take the animal. When they were on their way home, it happened that the railway staff refused to allow the dog to board the train. Sensing an opportunity, Guo left the animal there. The next afternoon, the dog came back home for the third time and cried. The family where Guo worked was moved by the animal and promised to keep it forever.
