Nantong Garden Show Park is located between Huangni and Ma'an mountains and the Yangtze River, it is also next to Binjiang Park. Its overall floorage is 49.2 hectors, and the total investment reaches 600 million yuan.
There are five scenic areas in the park; each with its own unique function and feature.
The area of River and Sea’s Charm showcases modern garden technology with its grand water scenery, which is a symbol of the bearing of traditional culture and the development of sea culture. The area is the Garden Show Park’s theme area, and also the demonstration area for future gardening.
Ling Shan the Sacred Ground takes natural wetland as its theme, while West Mountain the Meditation on the Past represents an authentic view of history with protected and restored historical relics. As for the Red Plum Scenic Area, the park makes full use of the original landscape, making this area the best place to appreciate the beauty of the Yangtze River.
The NETDA Free Trade Zone got the original go-ahead, on Jan 3, 2013, from the State Council, for a 5.29-sq-km area, in two parts.
