NETDA's fire brigade was given an Outstanding Achievement Award on Feb 26. It is the only fire brigade to receive this award in Nantong.
NETDA's fire brigade planned to build up fighting capacity and strengthen infrastructure construction in recent years. Roughly 15 million yuan ($2.4 million) has been spent purchasing fire vehicles in the last two years. NETDA's fire brigade has the best vehicle equipment in Nantong.
In addition to advanced facilities, NETDA’s fire brigade emphasizes brigade management education. Its fire administrative supervision and social service ability has been greatly enhanced. Every fire fighter has been provided with individual protection equipment.
NETDA's fire brigade successfully accomplished all fire control tasks last year, and won high praise from the people, Party committees and governments at all levels.
The NETDA Free Trade Zone got the original go-ahead, on Jan 3, 2013, from the State Council, for a 5.29-sq-km area, in two parts.
