Zhuhuajialiang Fine Material Company opens in NETDA

The Zhuhuajialiang Fine Material (Nantong) Company officially began operations in NETDA on March 13. Qiang Qiang, deputy secretary of the NETDA Party working committee and head of the management committee, attended the opening ceremony and made a speech. Wang Kangli, leader of NETDA, attended the ceremony.

Zhuhuajialiang Fine Material (Nantong) Company is a key new material industry project introduced to NETDA. It was financed with $32 million in Dec 2010 by Zhuhuasemu Joint-Stock Company, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Japan’s Sumitomo Chemical, a Fortune Global 500 firm.

The project has 16 production lines, a research and development center, and production base with an annual output of 30,000 tons of multifunctional additives. The project will be completed within five years. Three production lines and supporting facilities have been finished at present, which can produce 4,000 tons of master batch colorants for synthetic resin and functional master batch annually. This marks a new development stage of the company and will promote the development of NETDA’s new material industry, science and technology innovation, and economic transformation and upgrades.

Qiang Qiang spoke at the company opening. He said that NETDA is aiming at building the best development area in China depending on its superior location, convenient transportation and beautiful environment. NETDA is speeding up the modernization process and has provided development opportunities and space for enterprises. Qiang Qiang hopes Zhuhuajialiang Fine Material (Nantong) Company will further enhance research and development ability, optimize product processes and expand project scale, making NETDA a world advanced research and development center and production base for multi-functional composite additives. Qiang Qiang said that the NETDA Party working committee and management committee will fully support the development of projects and enterprises.
