"This is actually probably the nicest half marathon route I've ever been on", said Hannah Coleman from Ireland, who participated in her first marathon in China with the help of the organizing committee. "I had a wonderful time in Wuxi! The lake and cherry blossoms were so beautiful and the people were so friendly", she added.

"This is my first time in Wuxi. The services along the running track and the support of the people and local government impressed me the most. I will come again for next year's marathon," said Liu Lei from Beijing, who finished the half marathon in a time of one hour and 22 minutes.

"I'm running marathons for 3 years and I always heard that Wuxi is one of the best marathon in China. I had to see this by myself. I can only agree with this, very nice route, by the lake, and a good surprise with every 2km water and supplies and people cheering all way long. Happy with my time of 2:53:08 and definitely no better choice for marathon in China at this time of the year. And it was good to run with the best runners in China and to see all running friends from the neighbor cities"， said Thomas Royet from France.
