"Runners from across the world gathered and enjoyed talking over dinner. I am so proud to know that they enjoyed the Wuxi Marathon", said local TV anchor Liu Dan. Liu started to run to lose weight, which proved to be quite effective. Later, she found out that running helped to open her heart and better connect with herself. "Connecting with yourself means that you can feel your heartbeat and clear your mind during the few hours while you're running. You can also challenge what you thought was possible.
