4, Tonghua Municipal Tuberculosis Hospital

The hospital was established in 1959 to integrate medical treatment, teaching, research and disease prevention. It covers a 11,500-sq-m area with a floor space of 4,000 sq m. It has 112 employees, 81 of them professional staff and is equipped with 130 beds.

5, Tonghua Municipal Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital

This hospital, on Xinhua St, has a floor space of 5,192 sq m and 201 beds and is a comprehensive Traditional Chinese Medicine institution that combines TCM and Western Medicine and integrates medical treatment, teaching, healthcare and research and can admit patients under the medical insurance system and patients under the new rural cooperative medical system. It also works with the Changchun University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
