Established in June 1947, this is the largest prefecture-level comprehensive hospital integrating medical treatment, teaching, scientific research, preventive healthcare and community services. In terms of scale and strength, Liaoyuan Municipal Central Hospital is similar to a third-grade class-A hospital. 2, Liaoyuan City No.2 People's Hospital

This was established in Sep 1983. In 1996, it succeeded in being designated as a third-grade Class-A hospital. As one of the two modern and comprehensive third-grade class A hospitals in Liaoyuan city, it integrates medical treatment, teaching, scientific research and preventive healthcare. It is the teaching hospital and graduate students’ cultivation base for six medical colleges and universities such as Sun Yat-Sen University, Southern Medical University and Guangzhou Medical University. Moreover, it is a base for cultivating post-doctoral fellows in conjunction with Sun Yat-Sen University.

3, Liaoyuan Municipal Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital

4, Liaoyuan Municipal Maternity and Infant Hospital

This was established in 1974. 5, General Hospital of Liaoyuan Mining Group Corporation
