POWERCHINA and Alstom sign strategic cooperation agreement

Fan Jixiang, POWERCHINA's President met with Patrick Kron, President & CEO of Alstom on March 20 in the POWERCHINA Headquarters in Beijing. They held discussion and exchanged views on the cooperation between the two sides, global economic opportunities and challenges.

Mr Fan said that the cooperation foundation between the two parties has existed for a long time, and currently with POWERCHINA's business expansion, our cooperation will develop in a deeper and broader way.

Kron agreed with Fan in the analyses of global development situation, and he said Alstom and POWERCHINA enjoy complementary advantages, share common markets, and have outstanding and fruitful cooperation in many fields. Both parties have established a cooperative relationship in their common markets and they will continue to cooperate in a faithful way by using their experiences, to create a promising future.

After the meeting, Ding Zhengguo, the Deputy General Manager of Overseas Business Department of POWERCHINA, signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Alstom China's Vice President of Regional Power Sale. According to the Agreement, the two parties shall establish a constant communication mechanism to share market information and intensify their cooperation in the industry of power infrastructures in a flexible way.

POWERCHINA and Alstom sign the Strategic Cooperation Agreement
