King Abdullah Port outfitting workshop starts concrete pouring

The outfitting workshop of King Abdullah Port in Saudi Arabia, which was constructed by POWERCHINA, started concrete pouring on Oct 13.

The outfitting workshop is a steel structure building with a length of 180 meters, a width of 151.75 meters, and a height of 21.8 meters, covering an area of 27,315 square meters. It mainly includes driving vehicles, maintenance platforms, welding platforms, offices, warehouses, and internal modular substations. After completion, it will provide ship maintenance services for the world's largest monohull shipyard.

After the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) epidemic entered the normalized stage of prevention and control measures, the project has concentrated superior resources and organized management personnel with rich construction experience to ensure comprehensive on-site pouring.
