Would you give money to beggars?

I would say "no". While it is not morally wrong to give money to those who appear to need it, whether they ask for it or not, beggars are not entitled to the property of others. Beggars don't pay for health care, they get free health care which is paid for by taxpayers. Many of them receive money and/or food stamps from taxpayers as well. Furthermore, by paying them, you are encouraging those who currently don't beg to consider it. I don't say mean things to beggars like "Get a job", etc. I just keep walking.
