Should parents pay for college tuition?

I think parents need to teach their children responsibility! My parents made all three of us work at the age of 16. They told us they could not afford all four years of college, but they had some money saved up for each of us that would probably cover the first year. After that we were on our own. They helped us save money from our jobs and taught us that you have to work hard for what you want so you can enjoy it later. They both came from extremely poor families, worked their way through college, and now own their home and have three very hard-working children. You don't owe them college, what you owe them is a proper home education that teaches them responsibly, respect and hard work.
