Direct flight from Pudong to Seattle opens
Flight DL588 of Delta Air Lines, the first direct air route from Shanghai to Seattle, took off from Pudong International Airport at 12:20 am on June 18.
The flight uses a Boeing 767-300 passenger plane with 208 seats, taking off from Pudong International Airport at 12:20 am every day and arriving in Seattle at 8:50 am the next morning, a flight time of 11.5 hours.
The returning flight will take off at 2:30 pm local time and arrive at Pudong International Airport at 5:55 pm the next afternoon.
With the opening of this flight, the total number of flights from Pudong International Airport to the US is 170 per week.
