Pudong Airport launches tree-planting activities
Pudong Airport launched its annual tree-planting activities on Arbor Day, welcoming more than 220 participants.
More than 230 trees of various species, such as camphor trees, ginkgos and sakuras, were planted. The new trees could add new green space of 5,600 square meters to the airport.
The airport staff members also launched an advertisement campaign about planting for passengers in Terminal 2, as pamphlets were distributed to popularize knowledge of planting and environmental protection.
