The 2015 Chongqing Automobile Festival opened at the Chongqing International Exhibition Center on Nov 12, liangjiang.gov.cn reported.

Over 80 automobile brands will be on display at the festival and the four day event is expected to attract over 400,000 visitors.

The festival is held in part to promote sales. Changan Automobile, a Chonqging auto manufacturer, offers favorable prices for all its vehicles during the event. For example, its CS75 model will have a 10,000 yuan discount.

In addition to lowering prices, many companies will launch their new cars on Nov 14 at the festival.

Taurus, a high end automobile from Chang’an Ford, will enter the market on Nov 16, at a price of 249,800 yuan ($39,226). Visitors who reserve at the booth will get a 1,000 yuan discount and a gift worth 5,000 yuan.

This year’s festival also enables visitors to experience products and services related to automobiles, including test drives, camping equipment, and limousines.
