There is something for everyone at Fusheng Station, the first stop from Chongqing along the Chongqing-Wanzhou high-speed railway, which opened on Nov 28. Well, not exactly in the station itself, but a 15 minute drive in any direction is enough to access a wealth of cultural and entertainment facilities.

For the sightseeing lovers, the well-known Longxing Ancient Town is just a stone’s throw away. While for the film boffins out there, Chongqing International Filming City promises an entertaining day out. The film city is undergoing an upgrade and is expected to open to the public next year. Extreme sports enthusiasts can get their adrenaline fix at the nearby Jihua Garden Extreme Sports Center. It’s also a heaven for foodies, especially for those particularly fond of spicy tastes.
