The Port of Tianjin is in the western part of Bohai Bay, located in the lower portion of the Haihe River, at the entrance of the Yangtze River (located at 117°42′05″E and 38°59′08″N). It is the nearest port from the Bohai Sea to inland areas such as north and northwest China. It is also the maritime gateway to Beijing and at the eastern end of the Eurasian Continental Bridge.
