10. The Roots, one of Yif's three favorites
Kader Attou, choreographer of The Roots, is one of the major representatives of hip-hop culture in France. The Roots, a piece for 11 dancers, is one of the key creations of Kader Attou, prodigal son of contemporary dance, who evokes the origins of the hip-hop movement while questioning dance, the adoption of codes, reworked and revisited in the creation of new languages.
