Bijie is located?to the east of Guiyang and Zunyi, south of Anshun and Liupanshui, west of Zhaotong and Qujing in Yunnan province, and north of Luzhou in Sichuan province.
It is?the birthplace of the Wujiang River, the Beipanjiang River and the Chishuijiang River.
Bijie governs two districts (Qixiangguan district and Bailidujian?district), seven counties (Dafang, Qianxi, Jinsha, Zhijin, Nayong, Weining and Hezhang) and 250 villages.
