Should grandparents be paid for babysitting?

Each family is different, and the circumstances are as well. In my experience, the younger generation do expect more, and often have taken it for granted. Grandchildren are a blessing, and there is nothing more precious and no greater reward than spending time with grandkids. But along with that, if the parents aren't being fully responsible, then the grandkids might grow up with the same, or similar, attitude. So we are doing our best to not only love our grandkids, but teach them responsibility and accountability as well.
